I think our vacation in the woods affected Emerald more than we realized. When we asked her where she wanted to live, she shocked us both when she said Brindleton Bay. It’s one of those towns you know exist and have neutral feelings for and kind of forget exists. That’s how I knew she had done extensive research because she’d never been there, and I certainly never told her about it. She chose it because it has a beach but isn’t tropical and experiences all four seasons, and it snows a lot. Heh, I didn’t say this to her, but I hope she ends up loving snow because it can get really old, really fast.
We found her the perfect little farmhouse-style beach cottage just steps away from the water. It used to be on SimBnB but the owner is getting old and wanted to sell. That’s great because that meant the house would be fully furnished and narrowly decorated so Emmy could add her own touches. Or, she could completely redo it. The house belonged to her now. She can do whatever she wanted.
