I went to the Romance Festival…for work. If there is one place to find a slew of fashion do’s and don’ts, it’s at festivals. Let’s just say these are my busiest times of year because they spark all kinds of inspiration for new blog posts. The other festivals are thematic and fun. Sims are encouraged to dress in atrocious fashion. But the romance fest is the only one that could actually change your life. In that regard, I believe attendees should dress to impress because one never knows who’s looking. That is, of course, if they care about life-changing encounters.

I usually dress in everyday wear and hang out in the periphery to observe. I drink the tea because it’s delicious and relaxing. Most times I also I visit the Love Guru to see what nonsense she comes up with. I swear she has a barrel of fortune cookies and memorized every line.

“Oh, honey,” she said, leaning into me as if she had a saucy secret. “You will soon meet a very handsome fellow.”

I snorted and refilled my tea. I’m glad she doesn’t request payment for this garbage because it would be criminal to get sims’ hopes up like that.

When I looked up from the fountain, a very handsome fellow stood across from me looking high as a kite. Nah. There’s no way she was right.
