This may be morbid, but I keep pointing out things like this because I’m trying to prepare myself for the inevitable although it is nowhere near in sight. He’s still so virile. If his hair weren’t gray, I’d forget he’s an elder. I know I could never prepare for an event like that, and despite how prepared I’d think I was, I’d always be wrong. But if it’s possible to prepare, I want to do that because when it happens, I will need to put all my energy into comforting my child.
