Across the way from Daddy’s old house was a smaller island. I’m guessing it was private because a huge, beautiful house stood tall as if to say “Look at me.” I wonder if I would enjoy living on a private island, having to swim or ride a boat just to get to the shore every day. I imagine it would get old. Maybe that’s why the house is so big. The owners probably put everything they could think of in there so they wouldn’t have to leave much.

I always knew about the Sulani Conservationists, especially after learning Devonte worked with them, but I never realized why they were needed. Mua Pel’am is gorgeous. But it’s super dirty! And for no reason except for lazy sims who can’t be bothered to use the trashcans. It was really amazing how much trash I saw. My lone effort won’t make much of a difference, but I was proud to contribute to beautifying the island even in a small way. Maybe next time Beach Cleanup Day comes around I won’t roll my eyes at it.

The sun began to set, and I knew I didn’t have much time before it was pitch black. It’s crazy how fast it got dark in Sulani. I saw Mommy’s friend Makoa, and he let me borrow his boat! I always wanted to ride one of those things. It’s crazy. He barely knows me and definitely doesn’t know if I knew how to manuever it, but he gave me his boat anyway. He said, “Take her for as long as you want. I’ll find her later.” Gotta love the Sulanese.

I didn’t stay out long because I needed to catch Mommy before she went to bed. I know this was supposed to be a solo trip, but there is no way I’m going to Sulani and not see my mother. And if Makoa talked to her, she’ll have my hide for not visiting. We went out for dinner, and I told her of my adventures.
