I announced myself when we entered to avoid naked sim sightings. As always, Daddy left the stereo on, and the music grabbed me by the hips and drew me to it. I think dancing is how I emote. Like, most people fist pump the air and yell, “YES,” when something good happens. I just break out in a dance. Heard good news? Spin, Snap, Sway. Accomplished a goal? Jimmy Leg. Happy? Lean Back. Bored? Boogie Down Woogie. I want to learn every dance there is. Maybe by the time I’m old, I’ll have one for every emotion and reaction.
After a few songs, my parents finally emerged from their love den, grinning from ear to ear. Mommy dashed to me and enveloped me with her arms. I swear, she gives the best hugs.
Before Daddy had a chance to even think about getting a word in, Mommy was all in my face about the Romance Festival. I should have known Billie would tell Aunt Nay she saw me. Note to self: if you ever feel like being bad, don’t don’t it in San My. It’s cool though. I was gonna tell her about it anyway…not that there was much to tell. I just know she’ll enjoy hearing it. Not too sure about my dad, though.
