I was giving my best girl a little spa treatment when Mommy stopped by! I was pleasantly surprised and so glad to see her.
I barely got five words in before she sashayed into the kitchen and began cooking.
“Taco casserole ok?” she asked, peering into my fridge.
Taco casserole was more than ok. It was my favorite dish of hers, and I missed it soooooo much! I never even attempted to make it myself because I knew it wouldn’t come out even close to her level of deliciousness.
Shiloh was glad to see her and followed her every inch she stepped, and Mommy rubbed her head and gave her smoochies every time. That’s when it occurred to me. Mommy didn’t come to see me at all. It was Shiloh she loved best the whole time, ha ha. If there is anyone I would graciously step aside to dethrone me, it could only be Shiloh.
