It was such a gloomy day. 4:30 a.m. didn’t differ much from 8:30 a.m. Ali went to work, and I decided to chill again. I needed to because Watcher knows when this boy got here, I’ll long for these days.

“You saw Hunter, didn’t you?” I asked Shiloh. “You snubbed him like you always did, but I know you saw him!”

I think she rolled her eyes at me, hee hee hee.

I joined a few parenting forums to see what I could learn from OG parents. There were so many methods for soothing babies, discipline, and reward systems. It was overwhelming. The baby names overwhelmed me even more!! After scrolling through a few hundred names, I had enough. It was too much! I couldn’t believe that after all the time of planning my family’s future and dreaming of having babies, I never once thought about what to name my children. Never once! Hopefully Ali had some ideas. I’d ask Mommy, but she’d probably suggest something unusual. I haven’t been the biggest fan of my name, although I love the nicknames that came from it. I wanted to give my child a name he loved.

Later, Ali arrived more excited than I’d ever seen. He burst through the door shouting my name, looking for me.

“What in the world is going on??”

He began rambling about his job and his boss and…someone and architects?

“Breathe, sweetie! Slow down,” I said.

“They want me! One of the lead architects! He wants me on his team! He wants me to be his apprentice!!”

“NO WAY!! Are you serious? You got a promotion already??”

“I sure did!!”

“OMW!! Congratulations! I’m so proud of you!”

Look at my sweetheart! He was so nervous about joining a new industry and blew everyone out of the water just like I said he would! He’s such an amazing sim. I’m proud to be linked to him for life.
