We go inside, and she asks how I am. I complained about everything. My back. My bladder. My moods. Vampiric level hunger. Shiloh being too needy. Ali freaking out over nothing. She just laughed at me. I cannot see how any of this is funny!
Luckily, a knock at the door saved me. It was Lucy! She was sick and didn’t make it to the wedding, so I hadn’t seen her in a while. Good thing Diamond has a big mouth and likes me so much. Without her, none of my friends would know what’s going on with me.
Mommy left us to talk while she… Well, I don’t know what she got into. She probably cleaned my bathroom or something. She can help herself when it comes to me. Let me not make fun of her because I may be the same way with my kids. Or maybe not, since I’m having more than one. Gosh… I just realized that I’m her entire world right now. That makes me both happy and sad. I’m glad to bring sunshine into her life, but how is she when she’s not here?
Lucy is happy for me, but a little jealous. She wants a family too, and so does Duane, but he keeps getting cold feet. One would think he’d be ready at his age, but I suppose a decision so large is an individual thing. I just hope he’ll get it together soon. We’re not as young as we used to be, and he definitely is not.
Later, Ali came home and immediately checked on me before heading upstairs to shower. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world with all my favorite sims doting on me. I wish it could always be like this. Maybe I can convince Mommy to stay.
