Rodney felt unfulfilled. Everything he did regardless of what it was returned void. The restaurants were profitable, but he was still no closer to getting his mother out that neighborhood and into her own home. Everyone said it would take time, but he felt as if he’d never get there. On top of that, his sex life was dry. His trusty standby, Sofia, had been busier lately with her music career picking up. Alondra still had not come around. Life sucked and needed excitement, so he did the next best thing: bought another restaurant. He didn’t have the energy or patience to build one from scratch, so he scoured the Internet searching for failing restaurants in need of new management. This is how he found Alchone Taqueria.
