Meanwhile, across town, the team at Vineyard on the Bay set up a nice spread for Mel and the crew. They provided an assortment of breads, cheeses, fruits, nuts, meats, and chocolates to pair with their wine samples. It was a nice appetizer!
The other girls had been good about not fangirling so far, and Melany was proud, though it surprised her how well they kept their composure. But all good things must end. Whether it was the wine, or they just couldn’t contain it, Melany saw in Gabby’s face the moment she got the courage to finally speak to Bailey.
Bailey figured it would happen at some point. She was nice and obliged her but couldn’t help chuckling to herself about the NDAs they all signed. There may or may not have been a veiled threat in that subtle side eye.
