I think Mel is very conflicted right now. She’s such a people person—and a perfectionist—and doesn’t want to let anyone down. At the same time she senses elements of truth in Nadia’s words, although she doesn’t think she’s a credible source on the subject. On top of that, she still struggles occasionally with trusting Nadia after their disagreement (with Kam’s co-signature).
