Melany tried really hard to stay focused on studying, but she couldn’t help but be excited about seeing Nick again especially after learning he had no ulterior motives. He just wanted to know Mel: the person most people didn’t care to discover but the one she wanted most to be.
Did she arrive too early? She didn’t specify a time to meet, so he could arrive whenever he wanted. Maybe he forgot. Or, maybe she was too anxious. She probably hadn’t even been waiting that long.
After what felt like forever, he finally appeared.
