Nick is hustling, working his way up the film industry ladder, doing whatever he can to earn his stripes. Commercials, soap operas, after school specials, he does them all and treats them like a major film. He’s passionate, and it shows. His fellow cast members and crew love him. Well, most of them. I guess there will always be some haters, right?
Nick respects them all no matter how small their role. Some of them, however, he feels sorry for. There are some actors who’ve been acting as long as he’s been alive but have only received nominal fame. He’d never admit this to anyone, but all those gray-haired B-Listers have the same thing in common: they’re lazy. I mean, who comes to the set, gets on stage, and STILL needs to go through the lines?
Though Nick is always prepared, he’s not always confident. Honestly, it’s a good thing. Some actors are too confident and don’t work as hard as Nick. They over-rely on their charisma to carry them through.
The director is always kind to Nick, encouraging him though she doesn’t understand why he needs it. He’s a natural! She hadn’t always worked with him, but she’s watched his progress over the last year. When he first started, he was young and terrified to kiss anyone. He said it was weird. Now he’s one of the best kissers in DSV! But honestly? It’s still weird. He just thinks of Melany to get through it and make it feel real. Unfortunately, some of his co-stars like it a little too much…
