I really wonder what she thought was going to happen when Nick “made it.” Maybe she never thought he would. I’m sure fame and stardom is too far a reach for her narrow mind. But now she’s seeing first hand how “they” live, what “they” go through, how “they” spend their money, and how “they” spend their time. But “they” aren’t theoretical anymore. “They” aren’t strangers on TV to whom she turns up her nose. They are as close as her own family tree! It’ll be interesting to see if her perspective changes as time goes on.
