That peek in the windows line made me think about their lives in contrast. Anissa grew up in an apartment in San Myshuno. I’m sure she’s done her fair share of hoping and dreaming. She and her childhood friends probably played “that’s my house/car” endlessly. Meanwhile, Melany doesn’t even know what that’s even a game kids play. Kameron wasn’t super rich, honestly. But he did very well, and his family never had to worry about anything and could get most things they wanted. These are things Mel didn’t think about while she was trying to call her life normal, but hopefully she’s past that now.
